I have received a SELECTION_EMPTY error. I have followed the “Troubleshooting errors in checks” steps to resolve this issue. I am attempting to monitor a selection of the page; however, the page will not load in order for me to select the portions of the page to monitor. I only receive a “Validation Successful” message. I have turned the Visual Selector off an on, attempted utilizing a Proxy, enabled and disabled JavaScript and even allowed for the maximum delay. I have attempted to open the page in a browser to ensure the URL works and it does. How can I fix this?
@amyh From what I see, it looks like the monitor was created as a regular webpage monitor, but you’re actually trying to monitor a PDF. In such cases, you’ll want to create the monitor using the “PDF” option during setup to ensure Distill handles it correctly.
In your Distill Watchlist, click “Add Monitor” and Choose the “PDF” tab.
