Watchlist goes blank after selecting page area

Distill Web Monitor 4.1.0 / Chrome

  1. Log in to Distill
  2. Watchlist works normally
  3. Open any webpage
  4. Select parts of page using Distill
  5. Save the monitor
  6. After returning to Watchlist, the Watchlist becomes blank
    or monitor controls become disabled and cannot be clicked
  7. Logging out and logging back in temporarily fixes the issue
  8. Selecting another page area reproduces the issue again

Console errors:

E_REQUEST
Network Error : Unable to connect to https://api.distill.io

followed by:

Uncaught (in promise) TypeError:
Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘find’)
at child.getPref
at getSieveConditionInputs
at SieveOptions

@xMARx Thank you for the detailed report and console logs. VPN or another browser extension may be interfering with the connection.

Please try the following:

  1. Temporarily disable your VPN.

  2. Disable all other Chrome extensions, leaving only Distill enabled.

  3. Restart Chrome and test again.

  4. If the issue continues, confirm that your monitors are synced to your Distill account or export them as a backup.

  5. Open chrome://extensions.

  6. Find Distill Web Monitor and click Remove.

  7. Restart Chrome.

  8. Reinstall Distill from the official Chrome Web Store page.

  9. Sign in and test creating another monitor.
