I have email and text notifications enabled after subscribing for the starter plan. There is a product online that sells out quickly, and it just sold out again… While the product’s availability is tracked under change history, I’m not getting the email and text notifications that I am paying for. What is going on?
can you following the troubleshooting steps described in the following article and let me know what you find out?
Thank you for getting back to me, Ajit. Great platform, by the way. I’ve followed all the troubleshooting steps, and I see confirmed changes. I think the issue was how I initially had configured my conditions: “added or removed text/value” was not satisfying them. I’ve used the “Condition Debugger” and tested the conditions to get a “True” final result, which I believe should now trigger text and email notifications. Moving forward, the only issue I foresee would be the errors noted by the “check log.” In a 3.5-hour span, about 25% of all checks result in the “SELECTION_EMPTY” error, and I get this follow-up snapshot (see uploaded). Is there a way to go around this? I don’t have a local monitor, and I’m solely relying on the cloud monitor through Distill.
the best to work with pages that use a “robot or human” check is to use local monitoring using the browser extension. using the cloud is the next best option.
what site is this?
It’s WalMart.
Wait, I’m confused. You’re saying the best to use is local monitoring with browser extension, but then you’re also saying the cloud is the best option? I have been using the cloud and I keep getting a “robot or human” check. Is there another feature through the cloud option to go around this? Sorry. Still learning Distill.
sorry for the confusion. i meant the next best option. i have edited the post to clarify it.
