Select default device to run checks

Hello, is there any way to have a default device option for all checks? I always use the Any Local Device option, and would be great to have it set as a default, rather than having to manually change it to that option every time I add a new entry

The default device depends on where the monitor is created from:

  • If you create the monitor from the Cloud Dashboard, the device defaults to Cloud Distill Server.

  • If you create it from the Chrome extension, it defaults to that Chrome device.

  • If created from the desktop app, it defaults to that local Desktop App device.

At the moment, there isn’t an option to set “Any Local Device” as a global default for all new monitors.

However, if you already have several monitors and want to change their device setting, you can do it quickly using Batch Edit:

  1. Select the monitors in your Watchlist.

  2. Click Batch Edit.

  3. Change the Device setting to Any Local Device.

This lets you update multiple monitors at once instead of editing them individually.
