I’m trying to monitor a calendar page: Calendar. The URL does not change as you scroll through the months.
I set up a macro that correctly goes through the necessary click to change the month. It works during the test, but when I run it on my local machine, it throws a “Macro not found with 47f063b8-6275-11f0-a599-33c7db259c31”.
Issues:
*Clicking “Add Webpage” opens a new tab window instead of the Source page within Distill, so I don’t think I can set up the macro correctly.
*The macro page correctly lists that I am using 1 of 2 macros, but the macro is not shown in the list so it is impossible to see or edit it.
*The local device is not listed as an option for the device. The Cloud is listed as (this device).
once the monitor has been created, it can be run locally by changing the monitor’s device.
when using the local device’s watchlist, go to the monitor’s options page and use the dropdown to select the macro (displayed to the right of “open selector” button) to configure the monitor to use the macro.
“Macro not found with 47f063b8-6275-11f0-a599-33c7db259c31”.
this error usually indicates that the macro hasn’t been synced yet to the local device. it usually syncs automatically within a minute. but if it is taking more time, syncing manually (button with refresh icon in the watchlist) can help.
give it a try and feel free to reach out if you face any issues running it locally. thanks!
Thanks! This worked to get the monitor configured. But I’m still having the issue where the local device is not an option to select. It says that “(this device)” is the Distill Server which obviously doesn’t make sense. And I tried on a few computers each with a different operating system, which is where Chrome 1, Chrome 2, and Edge come from. But those options don’t seem to work on any computer. So how do I get it to work on a local device?
