I understand some level of truncation may be needed to keep things presentable but it seems to be currently set to 20 characters max, which seems rather low and isn’t ideal from a troubleshooting perspective. I’m currently looking into why I’m receiving false positives for a given monitor and based on prior observations I suspect that the text in question may be inconsistently rendered; for instance, I’ve seen spaces randomly added around parentheses and a false positive would make sense in those instances.
And while I understand that recent changes can be viewed through Change History, older changes would have no such luxury and, thus, could only rely on the “Matched” text in the Change Summary email to get an idea of why a matched occurred. In particular, this isn’t ideal for monitors which run, say, every 4 minutes as that would essentially mean Change History would not be available for viewing beyond the last hour or so, making troubleshooting beyond that timeframe more difficult.
