I’ve been using push notifications to my mobile on change for a couple of years, but they have suddenly stopped working. Looking in the logs, they are trying to fire, but there is the following error message (I’ve removed the device SID from the log message). Has anyone else seen this?
I should have said that when I use the “test notification” option in the app, this shows a messsge “Success”, but no notification is received. My mobile number is still configured to receive the notifications, so this isn’t the problem.
Have you installed the Distill mobile app on multiple mobile devices? If yes, please try uninstalling it from one of the devices and then test push notifications again.
If the app is installed on only one device, please uninstall the current mobile app, reinstall it, log in again, and then try the test notification once more.
If push notifications still do not arrive after that, please contact us at support@distill.io from your account email. We can then review the account/device registration details and check what is causing the Apple push notification timeout.
Many thanks for the info. Mysteriously, almost three days after the push notifications stopped, they have started again. I think I’ll chalk it off as being just one of those things. Thanks again.
