I need a solution to get automatic notification from a website that is publishing certain market pricings every month. I did set up a monitoring for this to test it and this month it didn’t work and I can’t test it again until next month unfortunately. I post the link to the website below, I want to monitor the monthly values in the table at the top, yesterday the values for April were released. I did get an error message before with the information that the fields are empty, however this is normal and I need a notification once numbers are in those fields. Is it not possible to monitor empty fields and get notified once something is entered?
In your case, the best approach is to select both:
the empty value field for the month you want to monitor (for example, April), and
the corresponding month label/cell itself as a stable reference element.
When the field is empty, Distill may show SELECTION_EMPTY errors, which is expected in this scenario. Once the website publishes the monthly values and the empty field gets populated, Distill will detect the change and send you a notification.
So the important part is:
keep monitoring the currently empty cells,
and include a stable element (like the month name) in the selection
