Monitoring a 404 error page

I have URL XYZ which right now is an error page 404. I know at a certain point this URL will go live and I want to know when.

What is the setup to test this with Distill? Right now I keep getting the error “e_request_not_found” and it’s moved to the error log and stops crawling.
What can I do?

monitoring this as an uptime monitor is the way to go. it will alert you when the page is back up. see:
