Local monitor on iOS

Can I run a local monitor on an iOS device like an iPhone or iPad? Or does it have to be a laptop? I would like to be able go take it with me on the go and watch it in case it times out.

It is not possible to open pages in background in iOS devices. As a result, they can’t be used to run monitors locally. A laptop is the way to go for local monitoring.

I guess it might be possible to make an AWS Windows instance and then use RDC to control it from an IOS device

AWS works. Many users use a Raspberry PI to run monitors in their local network that can be accessed remotely too. Cheers!
