Issue running Distill monitors on Mozilla

Hi there,

I’m using the Distill extension on Mozilla, but when I try to check my monitors for changes, I get this error: “Local monitors can’t be run from the web app. Please switch to Mozilla Firefox’s watchlist to run them.”

The selected monitors use Mozilla as the device since other devices don’t seem to work. Could you help me resolve this?

By default, local monitors run at their scheduled time based on the set check interval.

If you want to manually check local monitors, follow these steps:

  1. Open the local Watchlist by clicking the Distill icon in your browser toolbar as shown in the image below.
  2. Click “Go to Watchlist”.
  3. Select the monitors you want to check.
  4. Click the Run button (represented by a man icon).

Note: The local Watchlist URL will appear as moz-extension://... in Firefox and chrome-extension://inl... in Chrome.

Thank you for your reply, however, the issue I described above precisely occurs after I click on the Run button, as you described. Is there any solution?

Are you clicking the Run button from the local Watchlist or the web app (https://monitor.distill.io/)?

I was using the web app, but switching to the local Watchlist solved the issue. Thank you so much!
