Issue Adding Monitors to Watchlist: Redirect to actual webpage

Hi there

One of the members of my team has noticed that when trying to add a new monitor to a watchlist, the moment they paste a URL into the “source-webpage” box, they are redirected to the actual website they are tracking. From there, they are prompted to select the elements of the webpage that they want to monitor.

The normal way this works for other users is that they first paste the URL into the “source-webpage” box. From there, they select the elements to be monitored from within the Distill web app itself.

Is there a setting we can adjust for this specific user to restore the normal workflow?

they are most likely using the browser extension. the extension opens the visual selector in the browser’s tab. they can use the web app monitor.distill.io like others if they need to.
