However I often miss out on items I’m watching due to the notifications going to the distil app and then the app list not updating to put the recent watch alert item at the top. So I need to scroll to find it. Then by the time I open the alert and tap the link to open safari, the item is sold out. Would it be possible to have the iOS notification directly open the webpage in the default Safari app?
sure. press and hold the push notification displayed on the phone’s lock screen. ios will display an “open in browser” action under the notification. tapping that action will open the link directly in the browser.
Wow I did not know that! Thank you very much for letting me know. That would definitely solve my problem
