Hi! I work from home on a data annotation site. The whole purpose of me getting Distill is to monitor the page ever 5 minutes for new project and qualification opportunities, as when they’re released otherwise, we workers don’t get a lot of heads up and whoever is sitting there hoping for a great project gets the goods.
My problem is that of course I need to be signed in for the page to be monitored. Distill won’t let me sign in permanently it seems like the website does on the browser, so Distill only monitors the sign in page for changes🤦♀️
local monitoring using the desktop app or the browser extension is a great way to start. users stay signed in into their favorite website in their browser that distill can monitor seamlessly using the same browser.
they can be monitored in cloud (distill’s servers) using profiles or macros too. profiles can work well if the website keeps the session valid for a longer period of time. macro is a good option if the session is short-lived and requires frequent signin.
how long does the website keep the session active after signing in?
