hello!
im pretty new to this and rather bad with pc stuff so sorry if this is a common question
i only want to get notified when a new item comes up on mercari jp (a secondhand website) but the way i set it up makes a new page open every 5 seconds. could anyone please help me and tell me how to do it?

What you’re seeing is expected behavior when a monitor is created using the browser extension and configured for Local Monitoring.
With Local Monitoring, Distill uses your browser to check the page. For each check, the website tab opens so Distill can load the page and detect changes. If you’ve set the check interval to every 5 seconds, you’ll see the Mercari tab opening every 5 seconds as the monitor runs.
If you’d like to avoid this behavior, you may want to use Cloud Monitoring instead, where checks are performed on Distill’s servers and your browser doesn’t need to open the page.
