[Feature request] To have the On-Off switch back or a Global Shortcut

Am I the only one that misses the old on/off switch?
I like Distill but I would love to have an easier way to turn it on and off.

Maybe a Ctrl+Click or something on the icon to do that would be perfect.

Hello @rafaews

Firstly, welcome to Distill’s forum!

If I understand you correctly, you want to turn on/turn off monitors in bulk.
To do the same, please try the following steps:

  1. Select all the monitors that you’d like to switch ON / switch OFF
  2. Click on the “Batch Edit” drop-down that appears at the top of the watchlist.
  3. Choose the option “Switch ON” / “Switch OFF” as appropriate.

I hope that helps answer your question.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions.

Best regards,
Surya

Thanks for the answer but that’s not it.

Distill used to have a on/off general button that used to appear when you click the icon… Now you have to click the icon, then click this little button, then ‘turn local monitoring on/off’… The previous had easier access. I liked the other one better.

Now, even better, maybe perfect, would be if you could just use a command like Control+Click on the icon to turn all ON or OFF… Or another great option, maybe better, would be if Distill used the native Firefox’s shortcut option. So that you could set up a shortcut to it.

Hey guys!

So, I’m really the only one who’d like an extension shortcut for Distill?

A shortcut for “Turn local monitoring ON/OFF”

Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion @rafaews. Global shortcuts are a good idea. I have added to our roadmap. Cheers!
