Facebook Groups Feed & Text Hidden Behind See More Links

Hi - Newbie to Distill. I want to monitor my Facebook Groups feed for specific keywords. Many posts have content hidden behind a See More link and I can’t find a way to access this content to create an alert. Here’s what I’ve tried

  • Set up a new monitor: Monitor parts of page option and then highlighted the main Groups feed window containing all the latest posts
  • Tried the CSS, JavaScript & XPATH selectors to see if I can see/access the full text hidden behind the See More links but cannot
  • Tried the custom config here: Facebook Groups Feed - #3 by raksha but again can’t seem to access the text behind the See More links.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

the content shown after click the “show more” link is most likely not rendered until the click. a macro can potential be used to automate clicking the “see more” link. check out Macro: Record and Replay Automated Actions – Distill
