I’m monitoring a webpage with 3 monitors that are all ran on one dedicated cloud device. For today I’ve kept getting a E_RUNTIME error and can’t see posts about this anywhere. I’ve tried making a new cloud device and running the monitors on that and they’ll work once then stop working again for a few hours. Then every so often it’ll work once and go back to not working. This is happening on 2 different cloud devices on 2 different webpages simultaneously. Does anyone know what the issue is here and how to rectify?
@cracklesmoke Could you please help us with a few more details so we can investigate this?
From the Check Log(https://distill.io/docs/web-monitor/how-to-view-log-of-checks/#what-is-check-log), please click on one of the E_RUNTIME errors. This will open a page with the complete error details.
Please share:
-
A full screenshot of the error details page.
-
The complete Error Details text shown in the top-left corner of that page (you can copy and paste it).
-
The exact website URL you’re monitoring.
-
Whether the monitor is using a Macro.
Once we have this information, we’ll review it and help identify what’s causing the E_RUNTIME errors.
This is what shows up when i click on the error:
‘No Snapshot found for this check’
This happens regardless of what website I’m monitoring and I’m not using a macro. It seems to be an issue with the start up of the cloud device. If I make a new device it looks like this:
then works for the first check. After the first check it looks like this when opening the cloud device:
and comes up with this message after leaving it open for a while:
*Will only let me add one image per post. I’ll had the screenshots in order below
@cracklesmoke Thanks for sharing the details and the screenshots.
We looked into the issue and have deployed a fix on our end.
Could you please check again on your side? The issue should now be resolved. If you still encounter any E_RUNTIME errors or notice any unexpected behavior, please let us know and we’ll be happy to investigate further.
Yes it’s working perfectly now, thank you very much, I appreciate it.
