Does Checks for changes automatically or do It need the webpage to be open

Hello does distill.io work automatically after I setup the monitor and will send email of changes from then on or do I need to keep my laptop on or browser open for it to detect changes??

To receive email alerts about changes:
Make sure email actions are enabled for your monitor. You can verify this in the monitor’s Options page. See this guide for instructions: setting up email actions

For monitors to work:

  • Cloud monitors: No dependency on your laptop or browser - they run automatically.
  • Browser/device monitors: Your browser or app must be open and running.

Please check local and cloud monitors.
