Distill monitors configured for another device — can't validate anymore

Hi,

For the past 2–3 days I haven’t been able to validate my monitors in Distill. I’m getting a message saying that the monitors are configured for a different device and that changes can only be checked on that device.

I’ve been validating these monitors without any issues for about a year, and this error just started appearing recently. I’ve tried switching the device in the settings, but it doesn’t solve the problem.

What can I do to fix this? Is there a way to reassign the monitors to my current device or reset the configuration?

To better understand what’s happening, could you please clarify a few things:

  1. Which device were these monitors originally running on?

    • Desktop App?

    • Browser extension?

    • Cloud?

  2. Which device did you switch to when trying to resolve the issue?

  3. Where exactly are you seeing this error message?

    • Inside the Desktop App?

    • In the Browser Extension Watchlist (extension://…)?

    • In the Cloud Watchlist at https://monitor.distill.io ?

  4. Could you please share a screenshot of the exact error message?
