The recently introduced sign-in links, sent to the registered email address, may be good for some, but unfortunately, not me.
I wasn’t able to find any toggle for it. Was it because I missed something or the password log-in has been disabled intentionally?
I honestly don’t know the significance of doing so, as my email has an even weaker password and 2FA turned off (not my main account, of course), plus I doubt how useful are my monitors to scammers, hackers etc., though I’m indeed making money out of them…

quite a few users (individuals to enterprise) use distill to monitor critical. we needed to increase security. we had two options to increase it: 1. switch to magic link or 2. switch to password + 2fa. email is what the users control and secure already. so, we chose to implement the former.
please note that it is not possible to use password to login (except for a few old clients for a short period of time). we might introduce an otp based flow if needed for certain use cases.
