Desktop app stopped sending notifications

Starting from sometime two days ago my desktop app stopped sending me any notification (email or iOS app push). I had to change the device to a Google Chrome, after which I could receive the notification. I have tried reinstalling the desktop app but my efforts were in vain.

We have released an update for the Desktop app which fixes the issue that was mentioned above. Please do update the app to the latest version (3.5.5), either by relying on the auto-updater or by downloading and installing the latest version from downloads.
