Assistance with repeat alerts

I have monitors for certain devices to show up on offerup, facebook, and craigslist.

Issue is I keep getting alerted for same listing over and over. I only want to be alerted when new alert comes up. i have it setup when certain keywords come to a certain spot in the search i get alerted. I keep getting alerted for same one over and over. That is first issue.

  1. I like to only be alterted when certain keywords come up.. for example.. i want a search for meta quest 3 and also meta quest 3s… but there is no way to distinguish them.. all the 3s come up under quest 3.. how can i do that.
  2. I only want to be alerted when it is under certain price range.. for ex: 100 - 300..
  3. Anyways to only limit to certain locations. I set up the monitor for fb marketplace.. but i think if I do manual change for another zipcode the next time distill monitors it is still doing that location only.

Hope this is clear. Thx.

are most of these change alerts due to changes in order? if yes, you can use the condition net added text is not empty or net added text contains <keyword> to ignore changes due to reordering.

this can be tricky if the page has multiple numbers. if only numbers being monitored are the price of different items, using one of the numeric conditions should work.

only option can be to use different device for different locations so that the settings for the location remains the same.

Hi. Thanks for reply. For 1st option, i want them to be separate monitors. One for Meta Quest 3 and a separate one for Quest 3s. But what is happening if i leave Meta quest 3… the ones for quest 3s comes through…. I have selected only the first spot when sorted by newest first (fyi). What does “net added text is not empty” mean or “net added text contains keyword”.. I am not sure what you mean by reordering…

  1. I have the monitor only looking at the first 2 spots sorted by newest.. so do I just add a condition between 2 numbers?
  2. So i have to have one machine dedicated to monitoring? I can’t use Cloud? Or can I do a macro so it chooses location each time?

can you share the url and a screenshot to show what you are trying to monitor? that will help me understand the use case better. thanks!
