# Web monitor dont give me sound alerts

I create the web monitor, selecto the part that i want to check for changes, selecto the sound notification buzzer, everything seems ok, in the log it detects the change but never give me the sound notification.

What can i do?

@zeraki Thanks for reaching out. Since the change is being detected but the sound notification is not triggered, let’s verify a few things:

1. Under **Actions** of the monitor, confirm that **“Audio Notification”** is added.

2. Which browser extension are you using?

3. Has the audio notification worked before and stopped recently, or has it never worked?

4. Open the **Change History** of the monitor and check if you see a **bell icon** next to each detected change and not a slashed bell icon.

5. On the extension **Watchlist Dashboard** :

Please check these and let me know your findings. This will help narrow down the issue quickly.
