# ⏰ Date condition

Hi

I’d like to add a condition to a Monitored page that it will only check after a certain date (eg. 1 Apr 2027, new tax year). I don’t _ **think** _ it’s possible at the moment?

@davidh77 Just to clarify your requirement, as you mentioned both the **monitor checks** and a **condition** :

Are you looking to:

- Continue checking the page, but only receive a notification when certain content meets a condition related to a date, such as **“1 Apr 2027”**?
- Or do you want Distill to **start checking the monitored page only after a specific future date** , such as 1 Apr 2027?

If you could share the **website URL** , a **screenshot of the section you want to monitor** , and a little more detail about what you want to happen before and after that date, we can better understand the use case and see what setup would work.

I want to be notified when these sections change (_Ideally when they change to contain the word “open”_). But I don’t want to be notified until after 20th Jan 2027 (as I don’t want to reapply to this company until then at the earliest). In other words - I don’t want to monitor it until then.

_Related question: **is** it possible to check for certain words (eg. “open”) in the selected sections?_

@davidh77 Thanks for clarifying. For this use case, you can select and monitor the sections of the page where the word **“open”** may appear.

Then, under **Conditions** , add the following condition as shown in the attached screenshot:

For the date requirement, Distill does not currently have an option to automatically start checking a monitor from a specific future date. You can create the monitor now and keep it turned OFF, then turn it ON on or after January 20, 2027.
