# Cant see changes in days past today

In short, Distill keeps only a limited history within the app and depends on the paid plan you are using. If you need a longer or permanent record, that’s only possible if:

- You’ve stored alerts externally (e.g., email notifications, webhooks, or other integrations)

- Those external systems retain the history of changes
